My name is Lecia Booe. I retired in March 2022 after 30 years with Alamance Community College working for 22 years in the Business Office processing payroll. My last 8 years was working as the Senior Finance Specialist for the Alamance Community College Foundation. I have 3 children that are grown and no longer living at home. I have always enjoyed trying different crafts over the years. I fell in love with felting after taking a class with my sister at the Blue Ridge Fiber Festival in Sparta, NC in June 2022. I enjoy working with felt because until you’re finished you don’t know how it will look. I look forward to trying new projects and increase my understanding of the felting process.
