JuneBug Beadery originally started after the owner, Amanda, developed a hobby of making jewelry as something to do while watching sports on TV. The name “JuneBug” comes from the nickname of one of her favorite athletes.
At first, she designed several handmade pieces of jewelry for friends as gifts, and they always had told her that she needed to sell what she was making. In 2014, her New Year’s resolution was to officially start the business. She followed through on that resolution and here we are today. She has designed, crafted, and shipped hundreds of beaded necklaces and bracelets to customers all over the world. Her work is ever evolving, when she gets going on a new idea…everyone loves the outcome.
Amanda truly enjoys when someone purchases one of the pieces as a gift for a friend or loved one. She believes handmade gifts are the best, because it comes from the heart.
