Hi my name is Diana Wesolowski, I retired in 2019 after 33 years working in Escrow in California. We now live in Denver NC. We moved here to be closer to our grandkids, slow down and enjoy life in the south. I am married to my best friend, Mike, we have 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters.
I was not sure what I was going to do with myself, and in 2020 we went to the Keys, and met a Stained Glass Artist, and I fell in love with the process of the art. I watch a lot of YouTube videos to learn, this was all during the pandemic, so there were no classes available. I have always had a love for stained glass as far back as I can remember, never dreamed I’d be making it. Look at me now, “never say never”. I have been making small sun-catchers, plant art, and custom pieces for friends and family and the passion and love for Stained Glass has just grown. The phrase, ‘it isn’t work, if you love what you do’.
I NOW know what that means.
I work hard everyday and love it so much. I enjoy seeing people’s faces when they walk up to my booth. A lot of people have a stained glass story, of someone they knew, a grandpa, uncle that had done stained glass.
My passion is now my full time job, which is just dreamy to think about.
