For 40 years I lived in Colorado and worked in the electronics industry. I moved to North Carolina in 2018. Photography has been a passion most of my life. It was a way to record the natural world while hiking, climbing, and camping. Wood turning came later. That craft was something I always wanted to try but never got into it until about 2005. I enjoy taking a piece of wood and bringing something beautiful out of it. I use a variety of woods and techniques to make my pieces. These include carving, burning, coloring, segmenting. Each piece is unique and numbered, no two exactly alike.
